See Me Grow and Learn Pre-K Program
About our program:
We know that finding the right Pre-K program for your child can be difficult. Here at See Me Grow and Learn your child will develop all the skills needed to succeed through engaging daily activities. Play is not only enjoyable for a child, but a way for them to get hands on experiences doing something they love. Different activities will help a child grow in multiple areas of development. For example:
-
Block play: Not only can this facilitate imaginative growth, but exploring different blocks will help children learn cause and effect, colors, patterns, counting and help promote the growth of hand-eye coordination.
-
Sensory Play: Sensory play allows the children to learn about all of their senses as they explore different textures, smells and sounds. It also helps develop curiosity as children ask about the media they may be exploring.
-
Books: Not only do stories help spark the imagination, they help children gain an understanding of events. Children also learn to recognize sounds and letters as they read books with their teachers and friends.
-
Fine Motor Exploration: From play-doh and cutting with scissors, to coloring and learning to write, children use theses activities to foster creativity, build stregnth in their hands and can even incorporate mathematic ideas (counting, patterning, one to one correspondance).

We offer:
Language and Literacy, Math, Science/Sensory Exploration, Social Studies, Art, Social-Emotional Development, Physical Development, and Culture Development.

Goals:
We strive to have our Pre-K class ready for Kindergarten. Teachers spend the first weeks of the school year assessing the abilities of each child. As lesson plans are created the teacher will adjust the challenges to meet the needs of the children. We offer annual evaluations of each student at the end of the school year to assess their progress from the year.
How we achieve this:
Our teachers all plan guided learning activities and set time for one on one interactions with children to help achieve this.
