Play-based Learning Environment

Children are naturally motivated to play. A play-based program builds on this motivation, using it as a context for learning. In this framework, children can explore, experiment, discover, and solve problems in imaginative and playful ways. They also expand their executive function skills by practicing their ability to retain information.

Gross Motor Fun

We love outdoor play here. The classrooms enjoy daily outdoor time (weather permitting) on the playground. On warm summer days, we implement lots of water play. During the winter we love to play even in the snow!

Meals

All the meals are cooked on site. Menus are provided to the families every month. We provide a morning snack, a lunch and an afternoon snack. All of our meals strive to meet the health and nutritional needs of all the children in enrolled.

Owner/ Executive Director

Amy Fehrmann

Amy has always had a passion for children. It was when she became a mom that she knew she needed to create a place children and parents would love and trust. She started her home daycare in 2009 and pursued a degree in Early Childhood Education. After graduating in 2013 Amy was dedicated to growing her business and reaching more families. She immediately began writing her business plan and looking for a location to expand. In 2015 all her hard work was celebrated as See Me Grow and Learn opened its doors. It is easy to say that Amy is a great leader, and she is the heart and soul of See Me Grow and Learn.

Director

Frankie Monaco

Frankie has been in the Early Childhood Education field since 2002. Originally a K-12 music education major, she found a passion for young children and switched her major to ECE. While she loves all children, Frankie specializes in Infant and Toddler care as she has spent the majority of her career studying and caring for those ages. Over the years she has served in every capacity from Assistant Teacher to Director. Frankie joined SMGL in June of 2016. Frankie is the Director and, among other things, takes care of all things related to the kitchen and food service, including developing our monthly menu and preparing our delicious meals daily. Frankie is also a mom to 3 beautiful children who love to keep her busy and running around!

Danielle Snyder

Danielle has been in the Early Childhood field since 2005. She studied Early Childhood Education and gained her degree in ECE. Danielle specializes in preschool-aged children but loves working with children in all the different classrooms. Over the years she has worked as a teacher, assistant director, and
director. Danielle joined SMGL in September 2023. Currently, Danielle is the Director as well as our AM Preschool Teacher. Danielle loves spending time with her nieces and going to all their after-school activities.
